The Socratic Trail
Also known as Croydon's Millennium Trail, this path between Old Coulsdon and Brighton is a mixture of country lanes and paths through the Surrey hills and the Sussex Weald. There are many stops for refreshments along the way. Some details of the trail can be found from this link.
