GLC1 WINDSOR TO TAPLOW This is the first stage of the GLC (Greater London Circumambulation), 
an orbital trail of some 300 miles. The walk starts off along the Thames from Windsor and then mainly follows the
Jubilee River to Taplow. Brisk pace. Pub lunch.

GLC2 TAPLOW TO MARLOW Through the spectacular Cliveden Estate. Bring NT card otherwise a £9 entry charge will be payable. The walk continues close to the River Thames, but it does not follow the Thames Path.

GLC3 MARLOW TO SAUNDERTON We climb finally out of the Thames Valley into the Chiltern Hills. Pub/picnic/cafe at Lane End, near High Wycombe. Many undulations!

GLC4 SAUNDERTON TO WENDOVER Two long ascents. One long descent. Picnic only as no pub available. Weather permitting an excellent view from Coombe Hill on the descent down to Wendover Station.

GLC5 WENDOVER TO TRING This is the 5th of the GLC trail walks - Greater London Circumambulation. It follows part of the Ridgeway long distance path, along the Chiltern escarpment, dropping down into Tring
and Tring Park, then to the Grand Union Canal and Tring station. Lunch
will be at a pub.

GLC6 TRING TO STUDHAM The sixth stage of our Greater London Circumambulation where we start on the familiar Ridgeway, then via Aldbury to the Bridgewater Monument in Ashridge Park (cafe), possible pub at Little Gaddesden, and afternoon pub at end in Studham.

GLC10 WATTON AT STONE TO ST MARGARETS - Northern Line to Stockwell, then Victoria to Finsbury Park. Toilets and coffee at FP as none at start. Through a large estate, then lunch by the river at the Anchor, Wadesmill (2for1 on mains!). Return via Lea Valley to end.

GLC16 EAST TILBURY TO GRAVESEND - The final stage of the Greater London Circumambulation for 2015 (12 more stages in 2016) with a Thames crossing by ferry, and a short walk to the station past Pocohontas. Mostly by the Thames estuary, past two large forts, and is PICNIC ONLY, but pub near ferry at Tilbury.

GLC17 GRAVESEND TO SOLE STREET - This walk has everything, from a Thames shoreline path, Kent marshes, and the awe-inspiring north face of the Downs. It combines historic buildings and defensive fortifications, post-industrial squalor, a superb historic parkland, a very special church, and long views over the Thames estuary. Brisk pace. Not to be missed! Pub/picnic. NB Late return.

GLC18 SOLE STREET TO BOROUGH GREEN - We continue our circumambulatory expedition around London, passing through hilly fields and woods of the North Downs, and along part of the Wealdway and North Downs long distance paths. We then drop steeply down the chalk escarpment before walking along part of the Pilgrim's Way. Pub/picnic. NB late back to London

GLC20 SEVENOAKS TO FOUR ELMS - Through Sevenoaks to climb onto the Greensand ridge which we follow to Ide Hill (pub/picnic). Descend through fields and quiet roads to a village (pub/shop).
